ComPsych® applies best-practice quality, privacy and security management practices to all areas of our business and we maintain the following third-party certifications and accreditations

ComPsych fully complies with all requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Independent verification has been conducted certifying all applicable transactions.

URAC Accredited

ComPsych holds a three-year Core-accreditation by the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission, (URAC), a leading accreditor of organizations that provide health care management support services.

ComPsych complies with GDPR where applicable. ComPsych minimizes access to personal data so that only as much information is shared as is needed.

ComPsych fully complies with all requirements of the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), provincial privacy legislation acts and the former Privacy Shield framework.

ComPsych is certified under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which covers the EU-U.S. DPF, UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF.

ComPsych received the Employer Measures of Productivity, Absence and Quality™ (EMPAQ®) Outstanding Data Supplier Seal, recognizing key vendors for supplying high-quality data to support performance measurement.

Each year, ComPsych undergoes a rigorous third-party assessment of our controls around privacy, security, availability and confidentiality, known as a SOC 2, Type 2 audit. No substantial deficiencies have ever been found.

ComPsych adheres to an annual National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 audit (a federal agency standard) which includes but are not limited to the following controls: data protection, access control, system hardening, audit and accountability, contingency planning, incident response, awareness and training  and configuration management. No substantial findings have ever been found.
